Kim is a big believer in supporting local charities, whether that is by volunteering time or providing financial support. Below are some of the groups that Kim supports.

KidSport Kelowna
KidSport is a movement of dedicated people who are passionate about strengthening Canada’s culture of sport and seeing ALL kids succeed. KidSport provides grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under in Kelowna can play a season of sport. |

Central Okanagan Search & Rescue
Since 1954 Central Okanagan Search and Rescue has been providing Kelowna and the surrounding area with a team of highly trained volunteers committed to helping those that need assistance in both the backcountry and urban environments. |

Friends of the South Slopes Society (FOSS)
FOSS is dedicated to preserving the environmental integrity of the south slopes of Kelowna by constructing and maintaining public facilities, trails and signs in Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park and in other areas of the south slopes (outside the boundaries of the park) while promoting minimal impact recreation. |

Okanagan Fruit Tree Project
The group gathers abandoned or unused fruit from growers and farmers across the Okanagan Valley and distributes the food to the less fortunate through food banks and community organizations |

OVC Pet Trust is Canada’s first charitable fund dedicated to improving and advancing companion animal health and well-being. We support innovative discoveries, education and health care that improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of pets. |
