Kim is a volunteer with the Toronto Police Service in their mounted unit.  She helps exercise the police horses and assists at events.

The mounted unit is the longest running unit in the Toronto Police Service.  Formed in 1886, the unit provides crowd management and policing large international events.  The mounted unit is currently stationed in the Horse Palace at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE).
